That, incidentally, is a quality beard shot there, Eamonn. Is that a glass eye?
Marc Carroll played here a while back, I asked about him on ie-indie, and everyone called him a tosser, so I didn't go. I also didn't go because there was something else on, I think.

It does look like a glass eye indeed, I don't know.
Thought of a new project - we could make a family tree for indie Dublin e.g. like this

I wonder would half the bands ddeserve it though? I have too much to do today it seems, plus now I won't be able to go and see Chalets on Fri as Ruth's little brother needs help with maths.

Sounds neat. Brian reckons there was one in an old issue of D'Side before they featured John Dermody as a model and thus went under. Though the old map strangely missed the Lisa-Anna connection.
Nadgers about the Chalets. It'll be just me and Ian, then. If you're not home the weekend, Me and Ian and Irene and maybe others are going to Helter Shelter.

Actually on Fri Jesse Malin is playing as well, even though he is produced by Ryan Adams he sounds godd (from the one song I've heard by him) so that would be close competiton to the Ballroom oF Romance. But BOR being ony 6 € or whatever would win plus it is a Dublin music thing that is different from the Jimmy Cake/Dudley Corpo/Joan of Arse axis and that would be interesting.
Blah blah.
The Canadians have gone so I can get back to listening to music. First up Pico - Pico a cd Conrad gave me, he got it after hearing it on John Peel. Ok trip hoppy sort of stuff so far.
